EM Conference 2024

Dear all,

this is an open invitation to our "Extended Matrix Conference" on the 11th of April, 2024. It will be held online on Zoom.

Following the success of the previous "EM conferences", we are excited to offer another opportunity for EM users to convene and exchange insights, sharing their application experiences across diverse case studies. With the growing interest in EM, the conference aims to be a focal point for the expanding community, fostering discussion and sparking innovation. 

If you are interested in historic Virtual Reconstructions and you want to expand your scientific network in this domain, we would be pleased to have you during this meeting and welcome you as part of the Extended Matrix community.

The conference will be separated into two parts: "Presentations of case studies" and "Community Proposals". 

The first session will be dedicated to case studies of EM application in various ways and/or a critical discussion of the methodology itself. Discussants will have 10 minutes to present their work.

The second session will focus on proposals for implementing the EM, specifically on what is not present in the current EM that could improve it, how the proposal would be integrated, and what advantages it would bring to the community. Discussants will have 5 minutes to present their ideas.

All proposals must be submitted by March 31st, 2024. Authors can submit to both sessions.
