EM Hour goes monthly — next session Thursday 9 July 2026
From the July edition onwards, the community happy hour settles into a fixed monthly cadence: the second Thursday of each month at 14:00 CET. Next session: Thursday 9 July, on Microsoft Teams. Open chat, screen shares, demos — no registration.
After the kickoff session on 11 June, EM Hour adopts a fixed monthly cadence: the second Thursday of each month, 14:00 CET. Earlier announcements (and the site’s previous wording) suggested a weekly slot — that was the pre-launch plan and has now been corrected. Monthly is what the community will actually keep up sustainably, and it leaves room for ad-hoc topical sessions in between when something specific comes up.
Next session — Thursday 9 July 2026, 14:00 – 15:00 CET
The format stays the same as the June kickoff:
- Open floor, no slide deck unless a participant brings one.
- Screen shares welcome.
- “What are you working on this week?” — bring ongoing problems, demos, gotchas.
- Topics for the July edition will be confirmed in the days before via the Telegram group.
No registration needed — click the link at the start of the meeting. A Microsoft account is not required: Teams opens in the browser and asks for a display name on the join page. Please use your real name (and an affiliation if relevant) — these are small community meetings where it helps to know who’s in the room.
Where the rest of the meetings calendar lives
EM Hour upcoming sessions are listed at extendedmatrix.org/community, together with the lightweight archive of past sessions.
The more technical Development Meetings (monthly, Tuesday
afternoon at 15:00 CET, exact Tuesday per session) have their own
rail on the same page; the most recent one — 23 June — is
published with notes, decisions and action items.
